2023 TORONTO BLUE JAYS EMBROIDERED JACKET
A hand-embroidered denim jacket inspired by the 2023 Toronto Blue Jays season, designed to reflect the team’s energy and capture key moments from its players. It also represents what it feels like to be part of the fan culture surrounding the team.
CHALLENGES:
One of the main challenges was deciding which elements from the 2023 Toronto Blue Jays season to include without overwhelming the jacket. I had a lot of potential ideas, but not everything could fit in a way that still felt cohesive.
SOLUTIONS:
I had to be selective and focus on the graphics that worked visually and cohesively with the rest of the jacket. The layout had to feel intentional instead of crowded, and I had to ensure my personal favourite moments were included as well
